System Variable THICKNESS

Sets the value for the default thickness (extrusion):

• A zero value means no thickness is applied, which is the default for new drawings without a template.
• A positive value extrudes upward; a negative thickness extrudes downward.

Thickness affects many drawing entities (such as lines, arcs, circles, polylines, 2D solids, traces, and text), but not all of them (such as hatches, dimensions, ellipses, splines, or 3D solids). See Setting and changing the thickness property of drawing entities.
